Moonrise Of the Fox : EpilogA hawk - a scarlet one - flew against the sky. The moon was so full - so huge. Stars were coming out in the sky that was darkening as the sun slid down the sky. The hawk flew against the snow capped mountains down to the ocean, grabbing a fish in it's talons. It then flew above figures running in the soft plateaus.
The first figure that lead the others was white. The next was gray and black. The next was gray and brown with three legs. The next was black and dark blue. The last was orange and brown. These creatures weren't on

"Key, do not move." Vectis said.
"I promise." she said breathing lightly.
He walked over to her, and collapsed in her lap. She stroked his back lightly. She sat up though, and winced in pain. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tight.
"Listen to me, Vectis. You will make it home... it's just a little bit further... I can no longer be with you." she whispered sadly in his ear.
"But... you were once a fox. Come.... come with me... come with all of us... we-we're your family." Vectis said.

"Hey! That's enough!" Vectis growled "This is my fight!" He was cold and he was wet but he was still strong and still ready to stand up for his friend.
The shadow fox released his fangs and turned his head to Vectis "Well, well, look who survived." he taunted.
Vectis quickly tossed the stone to Key. The stone slid on the ice until it was in her grasp. She held onto it tightly as if it were a life line, although in Vectis' and herself's direction, it was.

"Stupid girl." Snickered the shadow fox. "Don't you know how thin that ice is? I'm sure he'll drown."
Key was about to call Vectis and warn him, but the shadow fox leapt on her. With her skills, she put up a good battle, delaying her death that never came.
